The Hydroloop® device is very easy to install
It’s installed under the sink in a very short time and without the need to break or modify the installation.

You only have to follow a few steps to install your Hydroloop® in the bathroom.
Installation can be done by any plumber with basic electrical knowledge, or any electrician with basic plumbing knowledge. It is simple and quick to do. If you want your Hydroloop® to be installed by a certified installer, check our coverage areas in the TERRITORY section.
Our installers, in addition to installing it according to the step-by-step instructions, will be able to find the best placement possibilities for your equipment, as well as explain any technical doubts that may arise.
Once the equipment is installed, it is important to consider the following indications for correct operation and, thus, obtain the maximum benefit and the best experience:
IMPORTANT: To avoid problems, it is essential to determine which of the outlets is hot water and which is cold, since there are installations that contravene the standard (left hot, right cold).
1.- Make sure there is hot water in the heater, since, if it is off, your Hydroloop® will only recirculate cold water.
2.- For the first use, or if for some reason the pipe ran out of water, it is necessary to purge your Hydroloop®. IT’S VERY SIMPLE: open the water taps and turn on the Hydroloop® until the bubbles trapped in the pipe come out. When the water comes out evenly, turn off your Hydroloop® equipment and close the faucets. The device will be purged.
3.- Once the button on your Hydroloop® turns off, a minimum of cold water may come out: it is what is between the Hydroloop® and the faucet.
4.- The time it will take Hydroloop® to bring hot water to the bathroom is the same as it took before wasting cold water from the hot pipe. Do your math and use that time for something better than just waiting.
5.- Do not overload the power line to which you connect your Hydroloop®.
6.- Consider that the equipment is designed to work with pressures for domestic use (between 40 and 70 PSI, the equipment is tested at 120 PSI), it is not designed to handle pressures above what is indicated here.
7.- If you have a heater that works with high pressure and does not turn on when you activate your Hydroloop®, you have two options:
a) Open the hot faucet to half fill the glass of water with which you will brush your teeth the next time; While filling, turn on the HydroLoop® and then turn off the faucet. The heater will have registered the demand and will be on.
b) Install a small pressurizing pump (1/6 Hp) in the water supply of your heater, which has a low cost on sites like Amazon or in large hardware stores. For details, consult our technical support department.
Depending on whether your installation is done in branch or online, the use of the equipment may be better.
Look at the diagram below and ask your questions to our technical support team.
The first thing to understand is that PRESSURE and FLOW are two distinct properties in a hydraulic system.
Pressure, within a closed circuit, is the force that water exerts in all directions on the pipe. It has no flow unless an element specifically provides it, and this can be in any direction as long as it’s a closed circuit. Hydroloop® is the device that provides this flow while simultaneously converting the plumbing of a bathroom or kitchen, along with the water heater, into a closed circuit.
Water flow exists in a specific direction when the circuit is opened and an outlet is available, for example, at a bathroom sink faucet. The water flows at a greater or lesser velocity depending on the pressure applied to it through mechanical means.
As long as a pipe is pressurized but no faucet is open, the water will remain static and can move in one direction or another without encountering any resistance. With no outlet flow, the only force affecting it, in this case, is that of Hydroloop®.
If you open the faucet while Hydroloop® is operating, the water that is intended to return through the cold water pipe towards the heater will exit through the same faucet.
In summary, pressure in an open circuit has a flow exerted by a pumping device, gravity, the atmosphere, etc. In a closed circuit, the flow is provided by Hydroloop®.
